Enrollment Method 2: Internet Enrollment with Call Center or Call Center Only
This method is an Internet based call center benefit communication and enrollment system. The program utilizes a high-speed Internet connection in the call center to achieve favorable conditions that enable visible presentations and direct "real time" presentations between the employee and the Call Center Representative (CCR).
The licensed and salaried CCR communicates with the employee through
a dynamically created web page that provides the employee with a
description of all core and voluntary benefits. The CCR describes
all benefits in detail while talking with the employee directly
through a standard telephone connection. Insurance applications are
completed electronically by the CCR. Benefit Statements and
Election forms are provided to the employee in "real-time" and
reviewed with them by the CCR during the process. The physical acts
of clicking on the icon to launch the program, inputting their
individually assigned Confidential Pass Code, and calling the 1-800
call center represent the only instances that the employee must
directly interact with the computer during this process.
For employers that have access to the Internet and multiple
locations, this method is particularly useful.
